Analyst
DTCC
About the role
About the Role
As an Analyst within the CISO organization, you will contribute to the engineering and automation of DTCC's Privileged Access Management (PAM) platforms. You will design, build, and operate highly available, secure PAM services across hybrid environments, ensuring privileged access is controlled, observable, and resilient.
You will help evolve PAM operations toward API-driven, CI/CD-integrated, and cloud-ready services, enabling scalable adoption across infrastructure, applications, and platforms. This role is foundational to advancing Zero Trust by ensuring privileged access is embedded into modern engineering workflows with consistency, security, and auditability.
Responsibilities
- Build, and enhance automation for PAM onboarding and lifecycle workflows, reducing manual effort and operational risk.
- Develop and maintain scripts, pipelines, and integrations (e.g., Jenkins, Python, Groovy, REST APIs) to automate privileged account provisioning, rotation, and access enablement.
- Partner with senior engineers to productize PAM services, enabling repeatable and self-service consumption by application and infrastructure teams.
- Assist in implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting for PAM workflows and automation (e.g., Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, or equivalent).
- Analyze automation failures, access issues, or performance signals and work with sr. engineers to remediate root causes.
- Contribute to platform resilience efforts, including HA/DR readiness and validation of automated recovery workflows.
- Embed PAM controls into CI/CD pipelines to support secure automation for infrastructure-as-code, application deployments, and cloud workloads.
- Contribute to DevOps-friendly PAM patterns, including non-human identities, ephemeral credentials, and API-based integrations.
**NOTE: The Primary Responsibilities of this role are not limited to the details above. **
Qualifications
- Internship or 1-2 years of work experience.
- Bachelor's degree preferred (Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field), or equivalent practical experience
Talents Needed for Success
- Strong engineering mindset with an interest in building platforms and automation.
- Knowledge of automation and scripting (Python, Groovy, Bash, PowerShell, or equivalent).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins or similar) and modern DevOps practices.
- Working knowledge of Windows, Linux/Unix, Active Directory, and hybrid infrastructure environments.
- Clear communication skills and comfort collaborating with senior engineers and cross-functional teams.
