Your Tasks

• You develop and implement individual automation and AI solutions with a high engineering standard.
• You conceptualize your own AI services and agents – for example for decision support, process automation or system integration.
• You design robust architectures for cloud-based applications and APIs, including microservices, orchestration, and interface design.
• You integrate AI components into existing system landscapes and ensure stable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
• You work closely with customers, business units, and IT teams, translating requirements into sound technical concepts.
• You ensure high code quality, performance, and long-term maintainability through clean engineering, reviews, and structured development processes.
• You support projects holistically – from analysis and prototyping to productive operation.
• You contribute your engineering and AI know-how to the team and actively develop best practices.

Your Profile

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Software Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of professional experience as a Software Engineer, Senior Engineer, or Architect.
• Very good Python skills; experience with C# and/or C++ is a plus.
• Practical experience in the development and integration of AI solutions or intelligent agents.
• Confident handling of cloud architectures and API-based systems.
• Experience in technical consulting or consulting, and enjoyment of working with customers.
• Good understanding of engineering-related automation and complex system landscapes.
• Knowledge of optimization or simulation is desirable, but not a prerequisite.
• Structured, solution-oriented approach, architectural thinking, and enjoyment of hands-on implementation.
• Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken.
