Digital Communications Executive

Fugro

Nootdorp · Hybrid Full-time Entry Level 3w ago

About the role

Job Description

At Fugro, our digital channels play a crucial role in how we share knowledge, tell our story and support business growth around the world. As our new Digital Communications Executive, you will be at the heart of our day-to-day digital operations - making sure our tools, channels and content are used effectively and consistently across the organisation.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working directly with digital platforms. You will operate and optimise our digital tools, support colleagues and regional marketing teams, and help ensure that Fugro's online presence performs at a high standard. With SEO as a core specialism, you contribute to improving Fugro's visibility and reach in search, while also supporting content publishing and social media execution.

You don't set the digital strategy - but you make sure it actually works in practice. By translating data into insights and helping teams use our CMS and social tools correctly, you play an important role in connecting content, campaigns and performance.

In this role, you work closely with colleagues in Brand, Marketing & Communications, including Content Marketing, Demand Generation and Digital Operations. You are a go-to person for practical digital questions and enjoy helping others get the best out of our digital channels.

If you like combining execution, optimisation and learning in a global environment - and want to grow your digital expertise at scale - this role is a great next step.

Your role

  • Operate and optimise Fugro's digital tools and channels on a day-to-day basis, including analytics, SEO and social media platforms.
  • Support regional marketing teams in using Fugro's digital channels effectively and consistently.
  • Manage and support content publishing in our CMS Storyblok, including page setup, structure and metadata.
  • Support organic and paid social publishing using Emplifi, ensuring correct setup and channel best practices.
  • Run SEO as a continuous capability, using tools such as BrightEdge to monitor performance and identify optimisation opportunities.
  • Maintain dashboards and analyse digital performance, translating data into practical insights for colleagues.
  • Support the operational delivery of digital training and enablement, based on input from Content Marketing and Demand Generation.

What you bring along

  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, digital media or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in digital communications or digital marketing.
  • Hands-on experience working directly with digital tools, analytics platforms and CMS environments.
  • A strong interest in SEO and digital performance optimisation.
  • A practical, detail-oriented mindset - you like making things work and improving how they are used.
  • The ability to collaborate with colleagues across teams and regions.
  • A willingness to learn and grow in a global, professional environment.
  • Excellent command of English, both spoken and written.
