EC Diner is a growing, high-energy brand focused on delivering a unique dining experience while building a strong and engaging digital presence. From in-store promotions to online campaigns, our goal is to create a seamless and memorable experience for our customers both in person and online.

As we continue to expand, we are looking for a Digital Marketing Assistant to support our Marketing Manager in executing and optimizing all areas of our digital marketing efforts.

Position Overview

This role is ideal for someone who is both creative and technically skilled, with an interest in growing within digital marketing. You will play a key support role in managing our website, ecommerce initiatives, digital advertising, SEO, and content execution.

You will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day implementation of marketing strategies, ensuring all platforms are updated, optimized, and aligned with current campaigns and promotions.

Key Responsibilities

Website Management & Development Support

  • Assist in maintaining and updating the EC Diner website (menu updates, promotions, landing pages, events)
  • Support improvements to website design, layout, and user experience (UX)
  • Ensure mobile responsiveness and consistent functionality across devices
  • Help implement SEO best practices within website content and structure
  • Troubleshoot minor website issues and coordinate with developers when needed

Ecommerce Management

  • Assist in managing online ordering platforms, merchandise, or gift card systems
  • Upload and update products, descriptions, pricing, and visuals
  • Optimize product pages for conversions (imagery, descriptions, layout)
  • Monitor ecommerce performance and assist with reporting (sales, traffic, conversion rates)
  • Support promotional campaigns tied to ecommerce (discounts, seasonal offers, bundles)
  • Ensure a seamless customer experience from browsing to checkout

Google Ads & SEO Support

  • Assist in the setup, management, and optimization of Google Ads campaigns
  • Conduct keyword research to support both paid and organic strategies
  • Monitor ad performance (CTR, conversions, cost-per-click) and assist in optimizations
  • Support ongoing SEO efforts including:
    • On-page optimization (titles, meta descriptions, keywords)
    • Local SEO improvements (Google Business Profile, location-based keywords)
    • Content updates to improve search rankings
  • Help track and report on performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics

Social Media Scheduling & Campaign Support

  • Schedule and organize social media content across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.)
  • Maintain and update a structured content calendar aligned with promotions and events
  • Assist in writing captions and optimizing posts for reach and engagement
  • Support campaign launches, promotions, and event marketing initiatives
  • Monitor engagement and assist with performance tracking

Graphic Design & Visual Content Creation

  • Create graphics for social media, website banners, promotions, and in-store marketing
  • Ensure all visual content aligns with EC Diner’s brand identity
  • Assist in designing marketing materials such as flyers, menus, and digital ads

Photography & Content Capture

  • Capture high-quality photos of menu items, events, and behind-the-scenes content
  • Edit and optimize photos for use across digital platforms
  • Assist in organizing and maintaining a digital content library
  • Support content shoots and help execute creative concepts

Qualifications

  • Experience or education in Marketing, Digital Media, Web Development, or related field
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of:
    • Website platforms (WordPress, Shopify, or similar)
    • Ecommerce systems
    • Google Ads and SEO fundamentals
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and scheduling tools
  • Proficiency in graphic design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.)
  • Basic photography and photo editing skills
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
  • Ability to take direction and execute tasks efficiently
