Position Summary
Jack Giambalvo Family of Dealerships is seeking a motivated, creative, and detail-oriented Digital Marketing Intern to join our marketing team immediately through October 2026. This paid internship is an excellent opportunity for a student or recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing, social media management, website maintenance, creative content development, and dealership marketing operations in a fast-paced, real-world business setting.
The Digital Marketing Intern will report directly to the Internet Marketing Manager and work closely with the Marketing Assistant to support day-to-day marketing initiatives across multiple dealership locations.
Internship Details
- Position Title: Digital Marketing Intern
- Location: Jack Giambalvo Family of Dealerships
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: October 2026
- Schedule: Flexible based on availability; preferred schedule is 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Compensation: $15/hour
- Work Environment: In-person; some travel between dealership locations may be required
Key Responsibilities
Website & Digital Content Support
- Create website banners and other digital creative assets
- Assist with dealership website redesign projects and content updates
- Support collision center website redesign initiatives
- Assist with special online retailing (SOR) and website improvement projects
- Update staff biographies and website team pages across dealership sites
- Conduct weekly manual website checks to ensure accuracy, functionality, and OEM compliance
- Perform weekly third-party pricing checks and report discrepancies
Social Media & Marketing Support
- Assist with creating and executing weekly social media content calendars for multiple dealership locations
- Create featured vehicle posts, promotional content, and engagement-based social posts
- Monitor dealership social media channels for comments, messages, and customer interactions
- Support promotional campaigns, contests, and seasonal marketing initiatives
- Assist with creation and scheduling of weekly Google Business Profile posts
- Track performance of paid/boosted social media campaigns and assist with campaign adjustments
Creative & Promotional Projects
- Assist with creation of graphics for dealership promotions, service specials, and handouts
- Help create and update waiting area video content for dealership locations
- Support monthly newsletter design and marketing communications
- Review marketing responses and website content for consistency, branding, and accuracy
Digital Asset Management
- Organize and maintain photo libraries, videos, and digital marketing assets in Google Drive
- Update vehicle product photos on Google Business profiles for new model years
- Maintain accessible organization of marketing materials for internal use
Additional Support
- Review customer phone calls for quality assurance and customer experience insights
- Assist with basic photography/video content creation as needed
- Support various marketing initiatives and projects assigned by the Internet Marketing Manager
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Business, or a related field
- Minimum of two years of post-secondary education preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Creativity and willingness to learn in a hands-on environment
- Familiarity with social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok
- Basic graphic design experience preferred (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.)
- Familiarity with Google Drive, online collaboration tools, and digital platforms
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Basic photography/videography skills preferred
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Interest in automotive marketing is a plus
