Commissionaires Ottawa is looking for a Digital Marketing Lead to manage day‑to‑day digital channels and lead the execution of campaigns that support our organizational priorities. This role is a strong fit for someone early in their digital marketing career who is ready to take ownership of hands‑on work, optimize performance, and contribute to measurable digital growth.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, management, and optimization of digital marketing campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, and LinkedIn to improve traffic, engagement, and leads
  • Manage SEO and SEM activities, including keyword research, on‑page updates, search performance monitoring, and continuous optimization
  • Manage website content updates, user experience enhancements, and analytics tracking in collaboration with IT or external vendors
  • Lead the development and maintenance of dashboards and reports using GA4 or Google Analytics to track KPIs and provide actionable insights
  • Manage social media planning, scheduling, publishing, and community engagement in partnership with internal contributors
  • Use marketing tools (e.g., HubSpot, Mailchimp) to manage email sends, workflows, and basic automation tasks
  • Lead tagging, tracking, and troubleshooting performance issues across digital platforms
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support and align digital initiatives
  • Monitor budgets, report on spend, reconcile digital invoices, and ensure accurate campaign tracking
  • Stay current with digital marketing trends and recommend improvements to enhance online performance
  • Bring strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills to manage multiple digital priorities in a fast‑paced environment

What You Bring

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in digital marketing, web marketing, performance marketing, or a related field
  • Familiarity with Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and SEO/SEM practices
  • Ability to use GA4/Google Analytics to review performance and create dashboards or reports
  • Experience with social media management tools or CMS platforms (WordPress is an asset)
  • Basic knowledge of email marketing or automation platforms such as HubSpot or Mailchimp
  • Strong communication, organization, and multi‑tasking abilities
  • Ability to learn quickly, troubleshoot issues, and adapt to evolving digital tools and environments
  • Must be eligible for and able to obtain and maintain a Government of Canada Secret security clearance
