Our client is looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Digital Marketing Lead specializing in Performance Marketing to join their innovative team in Kimberley, Northern Cape, ZA. This role is crucial for driving customer acquisition and revenue growth through data-driven digital campaigns.
You will be responsible for the strategic planning, execution, and optimization of all paid digital advertising efforts across various platforms, including search engines, social media, and display networks. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of performance marketing metrics, a passion for testing and iteration, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. You will manage significant advertising budgets, focusing on achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) such as ROI, CPA, and ROAS. This position requires a proactive approach to identifying new growth opportunities and staying ahead of the curve in the ever-evolving digital marketing landscape. You will also mentor and guide junior members of the digital marketing team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Collaboration with content, creative, and web development teams will be essential to ensure campaign success.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive performance marketing strategies across paid search, social media, display, and affiliate channels.
- Manage and optimize substantial advertising budgets to achieve target KPIs (e.g., CPA, ROAS, CPL).
- Conduct keyword research, audience segmentation, and campaign setup for maximum effectiveness.
- Perform A/B testing on ad copy, landing pages, and targeting parameters to continuously improve campaign performance.
- Analyze campaign data, generate insightful reports, and present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in digital marketing and performance advertising.
- Collaborate with creative and content teams to develop compelling ad creatives and landing page experiences.
- Identify and test new digital channels and platforms for potential growth.
- Ensure brand voice and messaging consistency across all digital touchpoints.
- Lead and mentor junior digital marketing specialists.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Business, or a related field.
- Proven track record of 5+ years in performance marketing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Ads, and other major digital advertising platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Google Analytics and other web analytics tools.
- Experience with SEO, SEM, programmatic advertising, and email marketing is a plus.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
- Experience managing significant ad spend budgets.
This role is based in our Kimberley, Northern Cape, ZA office.
