Job Description
As a Digital Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the development, implementation, and optimization of our digital marketing strategies in Wallis. You will play a key role in increasing our online presence, customer loyalty, and driving our sales goals through innovative digital campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Development and implementation of comprehensive digital marketing strategies and campaigns across all relevant channels (SEO, SEM, Social Media, E-mail Marketing, Content Marketing).
- Management and optimization of online advertising budgets to maximize ROI.
- Analysis of marketing data and creation of reports for performance measurement and identification of improvement potential.
- Continuous monitoring of market trends and competitor activities to identify innovative approaches.
- Collaboration with internal teams (Sales, IT, Stores) to ensure a consistent brand presence and promote integrated campaigns.
- Maintenance and further development of our digital platforms, including the website and social media channels.
- Management of external service providers and agencies in the field of digital marketing.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in digital marketing (min. 5 years) with a focus on performance marketing, SEO/SEM, and social media.
- Sound knowledge of common digital marketing tools (Google Analytics, Google Ads, Social Media Advertising Platforms, CRM systems).
- Excellent analytical skills and experience in interpreting marketing data.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to present complex issues understandably.
- Fluent German language skills, written and spoken (Swiss German an advantage).
- Independent, proactive, and results-oriented way of working.
Preferred Qualifications
- Higher education in Marketing, Communications, or Business Administration (University of Applied Sciences/University).
- Experience in the retail or FMCG sector.
- Knowledge of the local market conditions in Wallis.
- Good French language skills are a plus.
- Certifications in Google Ads, Google Analytics, or other relevant digital marketing platforms.
