The Digital Strategy Manager leads the development and delivery of the organisation's digital strategy across web and social platforms, ensuring a high-quality, user-focused customer experience.

Reporting to the Head of Brand, Marketing & Digital, this role oversees digital performance, drives innovation, and manages a team responsible for high-traffic digital channels.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and deliver digital strategy aligned with organisational objectives
• Lead development and optimisation of website and social media platforms
• Use analytics and insights to improve performance and inform decisions
• Oversee content strategy, publishing, and channel management
• Ensure accessible, compliant, and user-centric digital services
• Manage social media engagement, moderation, and escalation
• Lead and develop a high-performing digital team
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners
• Ensure alignment with governance, security, and organisational standards
• Identify and implement emerging technologies, including AI tools

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Essential:

• Significant experience in digital communications, web, and social media management
• Proven ability to deliver digital strategy for large-scale platforms
• Strong understanding of UX, content strategy, and digital service delivery
• Experience leading teams and managing stakeholders
• Strong writing, governance, and analytics skills
• Experience with CMS and digital publishing workflows

Desirable:

• Experience in regulated or complex environments
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG)
• Familiarity with AI tools in digital contexts
• Relevant qualification in a related field
