Job Summary
The Direct-to-Consumer Marketing Manager for US Nutrition is a pivotal role responsible for driving strategic initiatives in digital marketing within the consumer health sector. You'll be at the forefront of shaping and executing a comprehensive digital marketing strategy, aligning business goals with integrated programs that enhance patient engagement and elevate our brand in the competitive marketplace. As a key individual contributor, you will foster collaboration across functions and lead agencies to deliver exceptional marketing outcomes.
This role involves shaping the US digital marketing roadmap, overseeing the performance of campaigns, and championing a data-driven approach that ensures compliance with healthcare regulations. Your expertise will enhance the digital customer experience while working closely with Medical, Regulatory, Legal, Market Access, and Commercial Operations teams.
- This position requires in-office work 3 days a week at our Lake Zurich, IL headquarters.
- Salary Range: $115,000-135,000.
- Eligible for an annual bonus plan with a target of 10% of base salary.
- Final pay will depend on factors such as experience, education, skills, and abilities.

Responsibilities
Digital Marketing & Demand Generation
- Lead the optimization and performance of full-funnel digital acquisition strategies encompassing SEO/SEM, paid search, paid social, email automation, retargeting, and affiliate programs.
- Continuously monitor the competitive landscape, conduct market and customer research, and analyze performance metrics to identify trends and insights for enhancement of acquisition, conversion, retention, and average order value.
Digital Campaign Management
- Plan and implement comprehensive digital marketing campaigns across various channels.
- Utilize data-driven insights to optimize campaign performance.
- Ensure cross-functional alignment through messaging frameworks and content governance.
Customer Experience & UX Optimization
- Design and oversee the digital customer journey, guaranteeing a seamless and high-quality experience across all channels.
- Optimize user experience, navigation, product pages, checkout flow, and landing pages for maximum conversion rates.
- Lead the road map for A/B testing and continuous performance improvements.
- Align digital content with commercial priorities and regulatory requirements.
Merchandising & Product Activation
- Manage all aspects of product coordination, including launches, pricing, promotions, and availability across digital channels.
- Collaborate with supply chain teams to ensure accurate stock levels and forecasting.
- Achieve excellence in digital shelf management on third-party platforms.
Performance Tracking & Analytics
- Monitor brand, channel, and campaign performance using KPIs to fuel continuous improvement.
- Derive insights from digital analytics tools to enhance ROI and customer loyalty.
- Develop performance dashboards and documents for stakeholder communications.
Cross-functional & Governance Responsibilities
- Work closely with Sales, Regulatory Affairs, Medical, Legal, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and IT teams.
- Ensure all promotional activities comply with relevant regulations and standards.
- Facilitate the review of marketing materials and support process improvements.
Job Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in direct-to-consumer marketing or e-commerce within healthcare or similar fields.
- Proven track record in managing consumer-focused digital marketing programs.
- Hands-on knowledge of e-commerce platforms.
- Experience navigating compliance processes and requirements.
- Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and managing vendors.
Technical & Functional Skills
- Deep understanding of digital marketing techniques and analytics.
- Proficiency with e-commerce and digital analytics tools.
- Experience with marketplace platform operations and management.
- Strong analytical capabilities.
- Knowledge of market analysis and benchmarking.
