Responsibilities

• Staff and maintain hardware & ME domain teams to support projects worldwide
• Balance hardware team resources across projects and manage department budgets and business cases
• Oversee long-term support for projects and products
• Drive innovation, new technology, and patent creation across projects
• Advance HARMAN's technical processes and procedures to industry-leading standards
• Foster career growth and technical skills for all staff
• Ensure adherence to development processes to deliver projects on-time, on-quality, and within budget
• Oversee RFQ/RFI HW/ME design and BoM, and support customer meetings with technical context
• Share expertise with HW/ME teams in Asia, NA and other SBUs

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• 15+ years of engineering leadership experience
• 10+ years leading Electrical or Mechanical Development teams
• Hands-on HW/ME domain experience across multiple projects
• Strong organizational skills for multi-initiative, tight deadlines
• Passion for people management to empower a distributed team
• Experience in collaborating with stakeholders to create hiring strategies
• Proven track record of working with Product Management to deliver on the product roadmap
