We’re looking for a bold, strategic marketing leader to take ownership of our Above-The-Line (ATL) and Out-of-Home (OOH) strategy across South Africa.

As ATL Marketing Director, you’ll drive national campaigns that put our brand front and centre — shaping how millions of customers experience Betway across TV, radio, print, and large-scale media.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute national ATL marketing strategy across all provinces
  • Own and optimise all ATL & OOH campaigns, from planning to performance
  • Drive high-impact media planning & buying in partnership with agencies
  • Deliver integrated campaigns across TV, radio, print, and outdoor
  • Provide data-driven insights and reporting to senior leadership
  • Lead and inspire a high-performing marketing team
  • Manage key agency and media partner relationships

Qualifications

  • 8–10+ years’ experience in ATL marketing (including OOH & traditional media)
  • Proven success delivering large-scale, multi-channel campaigns
  • Strong commercial mindset with experience managing significant media budgets
  • Deep understanding of the South African media landscape
  • Track record of leading teams and working with agencies
  • Ability to balance brand-building with performance outcomes

  • Experience in gaming, betting, or regulated industries
  • Strong network across media owners and OOH vendors
  • Exposure to integrated ATL, digital, and experiential campaigns
