Director of Accounting

A well-established healthcare organization in Howard County, MD is looking for a Director of Accounting to serve as the top finance leader for the organization.

What You'll Do:

• Own the full accounting cycle — monthly close, GL maintenance, budgeting, and financial reporting
• Present financial results to senior leadership and the board
• Manage AP, AR, payroll, cash management, and annual audit coordination
• Lead and develop a small accounting team

What We're Looking For:

• 3+ years of accounting management experience
• Healthcare or nonprofit background strongly preferred
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• CPA and/or Master's degree preferred, not required
