Director of Advanced Engineering
Role Overview
The Director of Advanced Engineering is the technical champion responsible for driving the company's materials and process innovation strategy across Metal Injection Molding (MIM), Binder Jet additive manufacturing, and advanced powder metallurgy (PM) and CNC-hybrid technologies.
This leader transforms emerging materials and manufacturing technologies into qualified, scalable, and commercially viable production solutions that support customers in the defense, automotive, aerospace, medical, firearms, and industrial sectors.
You will own the creation and execution of a disciplined, business-aligned technology roadmap that accelerates time-to-market, expands margins, and positions the company as the preferred engineering partner for complex, high-reliability components.
Requirements
- Proven leadership experience as a Director or Engineering Manager within metal injection molding, powder metallurgy, or related advanced manufacturing environments
- Deep understanding of materials science, metallurgy, and complex component manufacturing
- Demonstrated success leading technical teams and driving new processes from concept through qualification and scale-up
- Must have experience with metal injection molding and/or powder metals
- US citizen or Green card holder
Compensation
- Competitive pay ($165,000-$190,000/year)
