Who we seek

A forward-thinking builder and operator who can architect and deploy AI systems across the entire business. This role will lead the integration of cutting-edge AI tools into Sales, Operations, Customer Support, Design, Production, Marketing, and Product Development—creating a more efficient, intelligent, and scalable organization.

You are equal parts strategist and executor: someone who sees inefficiencies, builds systems to eliminate them, and empowers teams to do their best work through AI. Your work will directly drive higher sales performance, faster execution, fewer handoffs, and a truly AI-enabled workforce.

What you bring

  • 5+ years of experience in AI systems, automation, engineering, or technical operations (startup or high-growth environment preferred).
  • Proven experience implementing AI tools and workflows across business functions (LLMs, automation platforms, copilots, internal tools, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of business operations across sales, marketing, production, and support.
  • Experience integrating tools and systems (APIs, no-code/low-code platforms, custom scripts, internal dashboards).
  • Ability to identify bottlenecks and design systems that improve speed, quality, and output across teams.
  • A builder mindset—you prototype, test, and iterate quickly.
  • Comfort working cross-functionally with department leaders to drive adoption and change.
  • Strong communication skills—you can translate complex AI concepts into practical workflows.
  • Experience with data systems, analytics, and performance tracking.
  • High ownership mentality with a bias toward action and results.
  • Self-motivated, self-directed, and highly accountable.
  • A degree in computer science, engineering, data science, or equivalent experience.

What you’ll do

  • Design and execute an AI systems roadmap across all departments.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to identify, implement, and optimize the latest AI tools that accelerate workflows, improve quality, and eliminate operational friction—resulting in faster execution, higher output, and a more intelligent, AI-enabled organization.
  • Integrate AI into daily workflows across Sales, Marketing, Support, Design, Operations, and Production.
  • Reduce manual work, eliminate inefficiencies, and streamline cross-functional handoffs.
  • Build and deploy internal tools, automations, and AI copilots to enhance team productivity.
  • Partner with leadership to identify high-impact opportunities for AI-driven growth and efficiency.
  • Train and enable teams to effectively adopt and leverage AI in their day-to-day work.
  • Continuously evaluate emerging technologies to keep CopperSmith at the forefront of AI adoption.
  • Establish and track performance metrics tied to efficiency gains, cost savings, and revenue growth.

What we offer

  • $130k to $170k annual salary range, depending on experience.
  • Competitive benefits.
  • Hybrid work schedule, with Tuesdays and Thursdays in our St. Louis Park office.
  • A high-impact leadership role with the opportunity to fundamentally transform how the business operates.
  • The chance to build and scale AI systems within a premium, design-driven brand.
