We are looking for an Engineering Lead with strong product-building experience and a solid foundation in cloud-native architectures. The ideal candidate comes with a hands‑on engineering background, has built and delivered scalable technology products, and can drive the right technical decisions across teams. Experience in the commercial insurance domain is a must.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end engineering for cloud-hosted SaaS products.
• Make architectural and technical decisions ensuring scalability, performance, and quality.
• Guide and mentor engineering teams; stay close to the buildprocess.
• Work on AWS-based deployments and cloud engineering best practices.
• Leverage Java, Python, and open-source technologies across the tech stack.
• Identify opportunities to integrate AI into product workflows (awareness-level expected).

Must-Have Skills

• Experience in commercial insurance / banking technology.
• Strong engineering/build background — has built products, not just managed teams.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS cloud and cloud‑native application development.
• Expertise in Java and open-source technologies (Python, OSS frameworks).

Good-to-Have

• Awareness of AI/ML use cases and how AI can enhance product capabilities.
