About the Role

The company is seeking a customer-obsessed and data-driven Director of Customer Success to lead global expansion and category growth initiatives across Amazon marketplaces. This role will serve as the strategic owner of international marketplace expansion and key platform partnerships, driving incremental revenue through new geographies, category expansion, and retail program development. The Director will work cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Advertising teams to localize growth strategies, optimize go-to-market execution, and accelerate new-to-brand customer acquisition.

Key Responsibilities

Global Marketplace Expansion

  • Lead expansion efforts across Amazon marketplaces, including EU, Mexico, Australia, and MENA regions
  • Oversee onboarding processes, operational readiness, and catalog localization for new markets
  • Translate proven U.S. growth frameworks into localized go-to-market strategies

Strategic Growth & Category Expansion

  • Identify new category opportunities and whitespace within Home & Lifestyle and adjacent categories
  • Develop scalable growth frameworks and playbooks across regions
  • Leverage cross-market insights to inform long-term expansion strategies

Partnership & Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Amazon Retail and Amazon Ads teams across international markets
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships to support sustained growth

Marketing & Commercial Execution

  • Partner with Product and Marketing teams to align product launches, promotional strategies, and advertising plans
  • Lead planning and execution of major promotional events, such as Prime Day and other tentpole campaigns
  • Drive new-to-brand acquisition and maximize promotional ROI

Data & Performance Optimization

  • Analyze regional performance metrics and growth signals
  • Identify scalable opportunities to improve performance and operational efficiency

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience managing Amazon marketplaces, preferably across multiple regions
  • Proven track record in international expansion, e-commerce growth, or customer success leadership
  • Strong understanding of Amazon Retail, Amazon Ads, and marketplace operations
  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Sales teams
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on, results-oriented approach
