As the Director of Finance & Accounting, you will be the strategic business partner to the General Manager, overseeing all financial operations for Hôtel Bowmann Paris and its legal entities. Your mission is to drive operational efficiency, ensure compliance, and support the hotel’s long-term profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Leadership: Act as a Business Analyst, providing strategic insights, forecasts, and recommendations to the General Manager and ownership entities.
• Planning & Analysis: Lead the preparation of annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and business reviews. Analyze operations to identify improvement opportunities and implement best practices.
• Financial Control: Oversee balance sheet accounts, bank reconciliations, supplier payments, and payroll control. Monitor and manage CAPEX budgets and treasury/cash flow.
• Compliance & Audit: Liaise with external auditors and accounting firms (e.g., Fiderec). Lead financial and tax audits and ensure timely statutory declarations.
• Process Improvement: Develop financial dashboards to monitor departmental expenses and implement robust financial policies across the organization.

Requirements

We are looking for a high-integrity leader with a deep understanding of the luxury hospitality financial landscape in France.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance or Accounting (Master, DSCG, or equivalent preferred).
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as a DOF or similar role, specifically within the 4★–5★ luxury hotel industry.
• Technical Skills: Expert knowledge of USALI (Uniform System of Accounts for the Lodging Industry).
• Proficiency in financial systems such as SUN Accounting and DPEM.
• Languages: Professional fluency in English (required) and French (strongly preferred for local legislation/audit needs).
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
