About the role
This position sits at the center of the company’s financial strategy and plays a key role in driving informed business decisions. Reporting to the VP of Finance, the Director of FP&A works closely with senior leadership to turn complex financial data into meaningful insights that guide growth and performance. This is a high-impact, highly visible opportunity to lead core FP&A functions, manage and develop a growing team, and enhance financial processes and models to support a scaling organization. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage all core FP&A functions, including budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning, and monthly reporting
- Partner with finance leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver strategic insights that support key business decisions
- Supervise and develop an FP&A Analyst, providing ongoing mentorship and performance feedback
- Design and maintain complex financial models to evaluate business initiatives and investment opportunities
- Analyze large datasets to uncover trends, risks, and areas for growth
- Prepare and present clear, executive-level reporting materials and financial narratives
- Improve and streamline financial processes through automation, advanced Excel modeling, and emerging technologies
- Work closely with Accounting, Operations, and Strategy teams to ensure consistency and accuracy in reporting
Qualifications
- 5–8 years of experience in FP&A, Investment Banking, Equity Research, or a similar analytical environment
- Prior experience managing or mentoring team members
- Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities; advanced Excel skills required
- Highly curious with strong problem-solving abilities and a willingness to challenge assumptions
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate and influence at the senior level
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with advanced analytics or AI-driven tools
- MBA or CFA preferred
