About the Role:

As the Director of Growth Marketing focused on product-led growth, you will spearhead a team dedicated to enhancing our growth strategy from initial acquisition to successful customer conversion. This role is critical for elevating our product-led acquisition approach while demonstrating its effectiveness as a sustainable growth strategy for Confluent.

What You Will Do:

  • Drive growth strategy: Define and optimize the product-led growth strategy from acquisition through conversion, collaborating with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Data Science.
  • Lead a high-performing team: Recruit, mentor, and manage a diverse team of growth marketers and analysts, fostering a culture of experimentation and continuous learning.
  • Optimize marketing channels: Evaluate and enhance performance across paid, organic, and product-led channels, translating insights into impactful decisions.
  • Build measurement frameworks: Establish metrics and analytical frameworks to assess funnel health and customer value, leading a disciplined testing agenda.
  • Strengthen sales motion: Design the handoff process from product-led users to sales, ensuring alignment during product launches and marketing campaigns.
  • Evolve growth strategies: Collaborate with Product and Engineering to integrate AI-driven approaches into growth workflows, positioning Confluent for emerging market trends.

What You Will Bring:

  • 8+ years in product management, growth marketing, or analytics, with a focus on product-led growth; 2+ years in a leadership capacity.
  • In-depth knowledge of growth marketing practices including acquisition strategies and funnel analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in SQL and familiarity with data visualization tools.
  • A background in enterprise software or SaaS, with excellent cross-departmental collaboration skills.
  • A proven ability to lead teams and drive results in fast-paced environments.
