Director of Marketing – Peer Support Services (Behavioral Health)

Role Overview

We are seeking a mission-driven Director of Marketing to lead growth and outreach for our peer support services across Pennsylvania, with primary service areas concentrated in the Pittsburgh and Philadelphia regions. This role requires candidates to reside in either Pittsburgh or Philadelphia and bring strong familiarity with one of these markets. This leader will oversee and develop a team of field marketers, ensuring consistency, accountability, and performance while actively building and maintaining high-value relationships throughout the behavioral health ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Manage, coach, and mentor a team of healthcare marketers—tracking performance, guiding outreach strategy, and ensuring alignment with growth goals.
• Develop and maintain referral relationships across key stakeholders, including physicians, primary care providers, psychiatrists, mental health clinicians, substance use disorder treatment providers, hospitals, outpatient programs, and local judicial systems (probation, courts, correctional facilities).
• Identify new partnership opportunities, expand referral channels, and drive census growth through strategic, relationship-based outreach.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of healthcare marketing or business development experience
• Experience within behavioral health, substance use disorder, or social services
• Proven ability to manage, coach, and develop field-based marketing teams
• Strong familiarity with either the Pittsburgh or Philadelphia behavioral health market
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications

• Established network of referral sources preferred
• Familiarity with peer support or recovery-oriented care models
