Director of Product Engineering

We are looking for a hands-on Director of Product Engineering to lead a high-performing team responsible for building and supporting core payment systems within a distributed environment.

This is a key leadership role focused on modernizing applications, driving cloud transformation, and delivering secure, scalable solutions across mission-critical platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of engineers supporting distributed (Windows & Linux) systems
• Drive application modernization and migration to cloud (AWS/Azure)
• Ensure on-time, high-quality delivery of scalable and secure applications
• Collaborate with infrastructure, business teams, and third-party vendors
• Oversee DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and release management
• Manage application lifecycle, deployments, and production support
• Track and report engineering metrics (capacity, quality, progress)

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of experience in software development, with 5+ years in leadership
• Strong hands-on experience with .NET and Java
• Expertise in distributed systems & microservices architecture
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)
• Solid understanding of DevSecOps, CI/CD, GitHub, Fortify
• Strong database and data engineering experience
• Experience with Agile & Waterfall methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in banking/payments domain (ACH, Wires)
• Exposure to data warehousing & BI tools
• Certifications such as MCP, MCSD
