We’re partnering with an innovative, fast-growing business at the forefront of modular construction, looking to appoint a Director of Product Innovation, Design & Engineering to lead the next phase of their growth.

This is a senior leadership role with full ownership of product development, design strategy, and engineering execution, driving innovation across industrialised building systems.

The Opportunity

• Lead and develop a multi-disciplinary design & engineering function
• Own the product innovation roadmap across modular construction solutions
• Drive Design for Manufacturing (DfMA) and continuous product improvement
• Oversee project design to ensure compliance, quality, and manufacturability
• Collaborate closely with operations, production, and commercial teams
• Engage with external engineering and consulting partners

What We’re Looking For

• Proven leadership experience in design, engineering, or product development
• Background in modular, offsite, or industrialised construction
• Strong understanding of building systems, codes, and design standards
• Experience delivering end-to-end product development
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive innovation at scale
