About Us

50 Year Established structural firm with an emphasis on great employer relations seek a Director due to a relocation in their Orlando Office. This business has 3 East Coast offices and a strong body of work across new build construction and rehabilitation in Florida.

Projects include but not limited to: Residential, Commercial, Healthcare, Education, Retail, Community Centers, Leisure Centers, Hospitality, Parking, low rise to tall building and more.

Role Overview

The Senior PM or Director of Structural will Lead and deliver structural engineering projects from concept through construction.

Responsibilities

• Manage client relationships and coordinate with architects, contractors, and internal teams.
• Mentor and train junior engineers while fostering team development.
• Support business development and help grow our presence in Florida.
• Play a key role in shaping the future of our Florida office, with a clear path toward office management and leadership.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Civil/Structural Engineering (MS preferred).
• PE license required (Florida PE preferred).
• 10+ years of structural design and project management experience.
• Expertise in steel, concrete, and wood design for both new construction and renovations.
• Proficiency with structural analysis software (RAM, CSI, etc.); Revit experience a plus.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in growing client relationships in Florida.
