Contractor Nation is seeking a highly experienced, systems-oriented structural engineering leader to help build and scale the future of engineering support for one of North America’s leading networks of specialty residential contractors.

This is not a traditional engineering role. We’re looking for someone who understands how engineering can improve speed, responsiveness, permitting, homeowner experience, and operational scalability for growing contractors.

• crawl space repair
• basement waterproofing
• structural stabilization
• helical/push pier systems
• SmartJack systems
• structural wood repair
• concrete lifting

What You’ll Do

• Lead and evolve engineering support strategy
• Support residential structural remediation and foundation repair projects
• Review and/or oversee PE-stamped plans, letters, and repair recommendations
• Develop scalable workflows, standards, and documentation processes
• Improve turnaround times, consistency, and dealer experience
• Collaborate with operations, production, sales, and permitting teams
• Help shape a long-term engineering platform supporting contractors across the U.S. and Canada

Ideal Background

• PE license required
• Multi-state licensure strongly preferred
• 10+ years structural engineering experience
• Residential remediation, foundation repair, forensic, or restoration engineering experience preferred
• Systems/process-oriented mindset
• Contractor-friendly communicator
• Entrepreneurial and responsive

Compensation

$180,000–$250,000+ based on experience, licensure, and scope of responsibility, plus performance incentives.

We are open to exploring full-time, consulting, strategic partnership, or hybrid arrangements for the right person.
