The Distinguished System Architect is a senior Technical Leader and Innovator who provides thought leadership in key focus areas relevant to Connected Secure Systems. This role supports both in-depth expertise and broad, cross disciplinary insight.

Responsibilities

In your new role you will:

• Distinguished System Architect is a senior Technical Leader and Innovator who owns and drives thought leadership in important depth or breadth areas relevant for Connected Secure Systems. Examples of Depth areas:
• Wireless sensing and localization across technologies such as UWB, BLE, Wi-Fi, Radar and Multi-modal sensing (including other sensing modalities)
• Ambient powered IoT: Developing Wireless System Architectures for devices with very low power needs including wake-up radios, designing Protocols and Standards for high volume, battery-free devices Example of Breadth areas:
• Physical AI and Robotics
• Digital Health products (such as medical patches, hospital grade patient monitors, and related devices)
• Industrial, Automotive or Consumer IoT
• Engage in meaningful, collaborative discussions with customers to understand challenges, anticipate trends and propose Innovative solutions that benefit both customers and end users
• Develop innovative algorithms, architectures and use cases to provide industry leading solutions with regards to performance, security, energy and cost trade-offs.
• Contribute to standards, regulatory framework and ecosystem development
• Engage in System modeling and simulation, pre-development of IP, including make vs buy analysis and successfully handover to product development teams for commercialization
• Mentor and lead cross functional teams in your domain to deliver compelling demonstrations & simulations
• Collaborate with technical and business experts across different domains to leverage existing strengths and guide future direction based on comprehensive system understanding
• Present the organization's technology vision and expertise to key executives within Business Line and Divisional level as the “go to” expert and influence the future roadmaps for IP, Product, SW and Solutions

Qualifications

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Advanced expertise in at least three of the following areas: Wireless Systems (e.g. Wi-Fi, BT/15.4, UWB, NFC), ML/AI (Models, Training, SW and HW aspects), Sensors (touch, environmental, vision, audio etc.), Power Systems (switches, power conversion), Motor control, MCU sub-systems (Analog, Graphics, Audio etc.)
• A proven record of innovation and forward-thinking (such as holding patents, publishing papers, or contributing to successful products)
• Demonstrated history of innovation and forward-looking vision (e.g. patents, publications and product success stories)
• At least 20 years of technical experience in System Architecture or Algorithm or Product Development
• A passion for Innovation, with resilience and persistence when overcoming challenges
• Strong skills in teamwork, networking and communication
• Advanced educational degree (PhD or MS)
• Experience in creating and presenting compelling proof-of-concept demos to leadership
