Responsibilities

• Design automated tests to validate functionality of applications.
• Create test designs, write scripts, report results.
• Conduct tests for systems, networks, applications, databases, software, hardware, integrations.
• Write clean, high-quality scripts that test functionality automatically.
• Design and execute QA tests using these scripts.
• Identify bugs and quality issues in development and processes.
• Collaborate with teams, test overall system, identify test conditions and features to test scenarios and documentation.
• Perform thorough regression testing.
• Evaluate, propose and help implement improvements to automated testing strategies and toolsets that result in increased efficiency and reduced risk.
• Use of testing metrics and metrics to target process and efficiency improvements.
• Install and manage automation tools like Selenium, UFT and ALM software.
• Mentor, train, support, and provide backup for other QA team members as required.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, developing, maintaining, and executing automated testing solutions using test automation tools & frameworks such as Micro Focus - Required 7 years
• Experience working with the Agile methodology, DevOps, CI&CD and related testing and test automation techniques. - Required 2 years
• Experience testing applications across a range of technologies including web, mobile, batch processing, web services and messaging, mainframe, rptg - Required 7 years
• Experience developing automated web service tests using UFT One/ REST service API test, SOAP UI Pro or similar web services testing tools. - Required 7 years
• Experience developing automated scripts using programming and scripting languages such as Java, Ruby, JavaScript, VBScript, etc. - Required 7 years
• Developing, implementing and maintaining test data and environments required for testing. - Required 7 years
• Experience writing complex SQL queries. - Required 7 years
• Experience using ALM or similar test lifecycle management tools. - Required 7 years
• Install and manage automation tools like Selenium, UFT and ALM software - Required 7 years
• Experience interacting with and presenting to managers and Sr. Leadership across multiple disciplines including QA, Development, Architecture and BAs - Required 7 years
• Experience working closely with developers, test engineers, and support staff for troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues. - Required 7 years
• MS office application experience, skills - Required 7 years
