About

Are you a Software Development Teacher (0.8 FTE) and do you want to work in a team where collaboration, guidance, and practice-oriented education are central? At Curio, you will train students in Bergen op Zoom to become the software developers of the future and you will receive the support you need as a teacher.

What will you do?

The MBO 4 Software Development program has over 350 students spread across our programs in Bergen op Zoom and Breda. Students consciously choose this direction and want to learn programming as it happens in practice. You will help them with this, both technically and in their professional development.

As a Software Development Teacher, the focus is on project-based work and guiding students within project education PRO (collaboration, Scrum, ERD, design). You will also provide lessons in the field of Native Development, including C#, OOP, Entity Framework Core, and APIs.

Your tasks include:

• Teaching programming and software development (basic and advanced), as well as soft skills such as collaboration, communication, and problem-solving;
• Guiding practice-oriented IT projects from the work field;
• Supporting students with Scrum, collaboration, and design;
• Contributing to educational development and improving teaching materials based on the needs from the work field;
• Providing tailored guidance to students, from beginner to advanced.
