- I provide quality-assured forecast deliveries and projections for our follow-up processes and prepare data for their publication,
- I work closely with the system operation specialists to analyze and integrate internal and external data requirements,
- I participate in components of the Machine Learning lifecycle, e.g., in the areas of inference, input data validation, and quality monitoring,
- I further develop existing data integration processes, methods, and procedures in Domain Data Engineering,
- I have the opportunity to actively participate in national and European committees and working groups.
My Competencies:
- I have a completed degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, Regenerative / Renewable Energies, Business Engineering, or a comparable course of study,
- I am interested in complex data flows and their connection with electrical engineering fundamentals,
- I value constructive exchange and collaboration, clear communication, and an open feedback and error culture with colleagues and stakeholders,
- I have at least good knowledge of Python and SQL,
- I have experience with common development methods and tools (e.g., Git, testing frameworks, code reviews),
- I have fluent German (C1) and fluent English (B2) language skills, both written and spoken.
Not a must, but advantageous:
- I have knowledge in the development and deployment of data and forecast models,
- I have experience with the Common Information Model (CIM) in the Common Grid Model Exchange Standard (CGMES) and UCTE data formats,
- I have experience with ELT/ETL frameworks, CI/CD, deployment in Kubernetes environments with Azure, Docker containers, and streaming architectures and technologies like Apache Kafka,
- I have knowledge in the application of tools for ensuring code quality,
- Ideally, I have experience with load flow calculations and network analyses in electrical grids, e.g., with PowerFactory, pandapower, Integral, or Neplan.
