Senior Downstream Process Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Downstream Process Engineer with strong expertise in drug substance manufacturing and downstream systems. This role requires a hands-on leader who can take ownership of process engineering activities and drive cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support process engineering project work across downstream operations
• Drive and contribute to SOO (Sequence of Operations) generation for broader engineering teams
• Collaborate with CQ (Commissioning & Qualification) and technology teams
• Provide technical expertise in downstream processing and system design
• Ensure alignment with project goals, timelines, and quality standards

Required Experience & Skills

• Strong background in downstream processing for drug substances
• Proven leadership and project ownership experience

Expertise in:

• Chromatography
• UF/DF (Ultrafiltration/Diafiltration)
• Buffer and solution preparation

Solid understanding of:

• Single-use systems
• Filtration techniques
• Experience working within CQ and process engineering environments

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Process Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
