Draftsman

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed technical drawings and layouts for modular and prefabricated building projects
• Interpret client requirements and translate concepts into practical design solutions
• Assist in the design and layout of building structures and site plans
• Compile accurate quotations based on approved designs and specifications
• Liaise directly with clients to clarify requirements, present drawings, and provide updates
• Amend and revise drawings in line with client feedback and internal requirements
• Ensure all drawings comply with relevant building standards and regulations
• Where applicable, sign off on non-complex building plans (advantageous)
• Maintain proper documentation and drawing records
• Perform general administrative duties related to projects and design processes

Minimum Requirements:

• Relevant qualification in Draughting / Architectural Technology or similar
• Proven experience in building design, preferably within construction, modular, or prefabricated environments
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Strong understanding of building plans, layouts, and construction principles
• Ability to compile quotations from technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
