EREMS focuses on the design and development of embedded electronic equipment and associated software for high-tech sectors, primarily space.

With the expertise of our 190 employees, EREMS has contributed to the success of hundreds of space missions since 1979, by developing embedded electronic equipment for telecommunications and observation satellites, exploration probes, and space stations.

For the Mars Sample Return program, for example, our teams are providing Airbus Defence and Space and the European Space Agency with the RIU (Remote Interface Unit) for the Earth Return Orbiter (ERO) spacecraft, which will bring Martian soil samples back to Earth.

Job Opening: IT Developer

To ensure business continuity, we are recruiting for the position of IT Developer.

During your integration period within the IT department, you will familiarize yourself with the applicable development process and the hybrid software/hardware architecture on Xilinx FPGA/CPU SoC boards, in order to:

• Develop/Maintain embedded Linux distributions (Yocto).
• Flash/Boot images onto boards.
• Develop/Test applications (user space) and drivers (kernel space) for Linux.
• Develop/Provide necessary tools.
• Ensure documentary support for developments.

Subsequently, you will join the IT development teams on new projects, participating in various phases: design, development, monitoring, etc.

Candidate Profile

• Master's degree or Engineering degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Several years of experience as an Embedded Development Engineer.

Required Skills

• Embedded C, Linux drivers, GNU/Linux environments, Embedded YOCTO, SOC, Microcontrollers, GitLab
• Written and oral communication in English

Appreciated Knowledge

• Space, ECSS, Xilinx Tools (Vivado, workflow...), hardware, bare metal, real-time OS, MS Office
• Xilinx SOC, ECSS, low-level layers, hardware, YOCTO
