About Safran Analytics

Safran Analytics is the IA Factory of the Safran Group, specializing in the processing of tabular data, time series, and text data. The Safran Analytics teams work with engineers and product/service managers from Group companies to develop innovative solutions based on Analytics, Machine Learning, and AI using foundation models. On a daily basis, we dedicate as much time to building (data analysis, calculation libraries, ML models, SaaS applications, AI Agents) as to deeply understanding field problems in the aeronautics world in its Engineering, Manufacturing, and Services dimensions (in-service product support).

What makes this position unique:

• You will develop applications used by engineers who design and maintain some of the world's most innovative aeronautical products.
• You will integrate ML and generative AI models directly into SaaS products, in close collaboration with data scientists.
• You will evolve within a human-sized structure (IA Factory) backed by a large industrial group, with the agility of a startup and the resources of Safran.

Main Missions:

• Design, develop, and maintain applications, primarily SaaS web applications, integrating analytics functions (forecasting, data fusion) or 'artificial intelligence' (Generative AI and Machine / Deep Learning).
• Participate in defining the architecture, implementing, and integrating various modules (frontend, backend, APIs, data pipelines).
• Industrialize the deployment of applications on AWS cloud infrastructure, within the framework of Safran Group's security rules and IT services.
• Ensure code quality (code review, unit/automated tests, documentation) and promote best practices within mixed teams (Data Scientists, Data Analysts, Data Engineers, etc.).
• Actively participate in monitoring the open-source world in the field of AI applications and evaluating the technical content of commercial solutions.

Required Profile:

• Master's degree (Bac +5) in computer science, engineering, or equivalent.
• 5 years or more of experience in full-stack development, with a significant portion on production SaaS applications on AWS Cloud.
• Team spirit and ability to work in an agile mode.
• Excellent communication with diverse profiles (business, data scientists, developers, cybersecurity, production).
• Sense of initiative, autonomy, and pragmatism.
• Contribution to technical capitalization (shared libraries, design patterns, documentation).
• Ability to simplify complex technical subjects.

Required Skills:

• Backend Development: Excellent command of Python (Flask, Django, or FastAPI ideally), REST API management, testing.
• Frontend Development: Good experience with at least one frontend framework (React, Angular, Vue.js, etc.).
• Agentic AI (AI Agents): Knowledge of agent orchestration frameworks (LangGraph, Pydantic AI, or equivalent), associated integration patterns (tool calling, RAG), and tools for evaluating, observing, and deploying agents in production.
• Cloud: Knowledge of main AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, SageMaker, etc.).
• DevOps Practices: Familiarity with continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD), containerization (Docker), monitoring, and logging.
• Databases: Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Security: Awareness of application security and compliance (GDPR, etc.).
