To support the growth of our client in the financial sector, ALTEN Canada is hiring an AI/ML Developer to design and maintain artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions to optimize business processes.

What will my responsibilities be?

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of a Python library dedicated to AI/ML solutions.
• Participate in prompt engineering for language models (LLMs) and adapt them to new versions.
• Collaborate with business teams and experts to understand needs and translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Conduct regular testing and analyze the performance of developed models.
• Participate in benchmarking experiments to evaluate the effectiveness of prompts.
• Automate business processes using Python applications.
• Provide continuous monitoring of deployed solutions and suggest improvements.

What skills should I have?

• Excellent prompt engineering skills for language models (LLMs).
• Proficiency in Python development and experience in building applications.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in software development, ideally in an Agile environment.
• Knowledge of best practices in machine learning and vector database management (mendatory).
• Experience in cloud-based application development, preferably with Microsoft Azure Cloud (a plus).
• Previous experience in FinTech application development (a plus).
• Experience working in a global and distributed team.
• Fluent English required (daily interactions with business teams based in New York, writing and understanding technical documentation in English, participating in meetings in English).
