What profiles are we recruiting and for whom?

To support the growth of our client in the banking sector, ALTEN Canada is hiring a Fullstack Developer Python/React to join the Supervisory Dashboard team within Non-Linear Rates IT – Capital Markets IT. This team develops and maintains a web application for control, supervision, and reporting for trading desk managers, aligned with regulatory recommendations.

What will be my responsibilities?

• Understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
• Maintain and develop existing tools following standards (CI/CD, unit testing).
• Design and develop web applications (React, Python/Flask, ELK Stack, SQL).
• Collaborate in Agile mode with Product Owners and cross-functional teams.
• Communicate effectively with involved departments (IT, HR, Compliance, Middle Office).

What skills do I need to join your teams?

• Strong Fullstack skills: Python (Flask) for back-end and React.JS for front-end.
• Experience with relational databases (MS SQL).
• Knowledge of version control tools (GitHub/GitLab) and issue tracking systems (JIRA).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Bilingualism required (French/English) : frequent interactions with international teams and technical documentation in English.
