About the role
Our client, a rapidly expanding online retail business, is seeking an innovative and results-driven E-commerce Growth Manager to spearhead their digital strategy from Makurdi, Benue, NG . This role is pivotal in driving online sales, optimizing customer acquisition channels, and enhancing the overall customer journey across their digital platforms. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of e-commerce best practices, digital marketing, and data analytics. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive growth plans to maximize revenue and market share.
Responsibilities: Develop and implement data-driven strategies to increase website traffic, conversion rates, and average order value. Manage and optimize all paid acquisition channels, including SEO, SEM, social media advertising, and affiliate marketing. Oversee the execution of email marketing campaigns, including segmentation, personalization, and automation. Analyze website performance using tools like Google Analytics, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement. Conduct A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO) initiatives across the website and marketing funnels. Manage the customer lifecycle, focusing on retention, loyalty programs, and increasing customer lifetime value. Stay current with e-commerce trends, competitive landscape, and emerging digital marketing technologies. Collaborate with marketing, design, and IT teams to ensure a seamless and engaging online customer experience. Develop and manage the e-commerce marketing budget, ensuring optimal ROI. Create compelling content and promotional strategies to drive engagement and sales. Report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights to senior management. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus. Proven track record of success in e-commerce management and digital marketing, with at least 5 years of experience. Extensive experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce) and marketing automation tools. Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies. Expertise in SEO, SEM, PPC, social media marketing, and email marketing. Proficiency in Google Analytics and other web analytics tools. Excellent understanding of CRO principles and A/B testing methodologies. Strong project management and organizational skills. Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience managing online communities and social media engagement.
