About the role
Our client is looking for an experienced and results-driven E-commerce Marketing Lead to spearhead their online sales and marketing efforts in Abuja, Federal Capital Territory, NG . This role is pivotal in driving online revenue growth, enhancing customer acquisition, and optimizing the overall e-commerce customer journey. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing innovative digital marketing strategies tailored to our e-commerce platforms, leveraging data analytics to inform decisions, and managing all aspects of online promotion. You will work closely with the sales, product, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration and a cohesive customer experience across all digital touchpoints. A deep understanding of SEO, SEM, social media marketing, email marketing, and content marketing is essential for success in this position. You will also be tasked with analyzing market trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior to identify new opportunities for growth and engagement.
Responsibilities will include: Developing and executing a comprehensive e-commerce marketing strategy to drive traffic, conversions, and revenue. Managing and optimizing all paid advertising campaigns (Google Ads, social media ads). Implementing SEO best practices to improve organic search rankings and visibility. Developing and managing email marketing campaigns, including segmentation, personalization, and automation. Creating and curating engaging content for product pages, social media, and blog posts. Analyzing website traffic and sales data to identify trends, measure campaign effectiveness, and optimize performance. Managing social media strategy and execution across relevant platforms. Collaborating with the web development team to improve website functionality and user experience. Conducting A/B testing on various marketing elements to enhance conversion rates. Staying up-to-date with the latest e-commerce trends and technologies. Managing the e-commerce marketing budget and ensuring a strong ROI. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in e-commerce marketing, with a proven track record of success in driving online sales and customer acquisition. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) are required. Excellent knowledge of digital marketing channels and strategies. Demonstrable experience in SEO, SEM, social media marketing, and email marketing. Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities. Strong project management and organizational skills. The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. This role is based in our Abuja office and requires the candidate to be present daily to collaborate effectively with internal teams and oversee operational aspects of the e-commerce business.
