About the role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and strategic E-commerce Platform Manager to oversee their online sales channels. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere. The ideal candidate will be an expert in managing and optimizing e-commerce platforms, driving online sales growth, and ensuring a seamless customer experience. You will be responsible for all aspects of the e-commerce operation, from website management and merchandising to conversion rate optimization and customer journey analysis. This role requires a deep understanding of e-commerce best practices and a passion for delivering exceptional online shopping experiences.
Key Responsibilities: Manage and maintain the company's e-commerce website, ensuring optimal performance, usability, and security. Develop and execute strategies to drive online sales growth, including merchandising, promotions, and conversion rate optimization (CRO). Oversee the product catalog, ensuring accurate descriptions, pricing, and imagery. Analyze e-commerce data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement. Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and implement digital marketing campaigns that drive traffic and conversions. Manage the customer journey from discovery to post-purchase, ensuring a positive and consistent experience. Stay up-to-date with the latest e-commerce technologies, trends, and best practices. Work closely with development and IT teams to implement new features, integrations, and platform updates. Manage online customer service inquiries and feedback, ensuring timely and effective resolution. Develop and manage the e-commerce budget, ensuring profitability and efficient resource allocation. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, E-commerce, or a related field. Minimum of 6 years of experience in e-commerce management, with a strong focus on platform management and online sales growth. Proven experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify Plus, Magento, BigCommerce) and related tools. In-depth understanding of CRO strategies, A/B testing, and user experience (UX) principles. Strong analytical skills and experience with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics). Excellent understanding of digital marketing channels relevant to e-commerce (SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing). Exceptional project management and organizational skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams. Experience in online merchandising and catalog management. Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment.
