As Bibi van der Velden is becoming a globally recognized brand, digital and ecommerce are central to engaging new audiences, amplifying storytelling, and driving sustainable growth. The Ecommerce and Digital Marketing Manager, collaborating closely with the Marketing and leadership teams, will be pivotal in shaping this digital future. This role reports to our Sales Director, working in close partnership with our Tech Stack Manager to receive technical guidance, resources, and support for driving ecommerce excellence.

Roles & Responsibilities

Ecommerce Management

  • Take full ownership of the Shopify platform, managing both front-end and back-end operations to deliver a flawless, high-end user experience.
  • Front-End: Ensure every visual and interactive element—UX, UI, content, and onsite SEO—aligns with the brand’s luxury identity.
  • Back-End: Oversee product data, listings, order processing, integrations, system performance, and pricing.
  • Conversion Rate Optimization: Analyze user behavior, run A/B tests, and implement changes to boost conversions and average order value.
  • Innovation: Identify and capitalize on new opportunities to keep the brand at the forefront of luxury ecommerce.

Digital Marketing

  • Support the brand’s marketing calendar by activating owned channels (website, email, organic social) and paid channels (Meta, Google Ads), creating cohesive, high-impact campaigns.
  • Performance Analysis: Track KPIs (ROAS, CAC, LTV) and refine strategies based on data insights.
  • AI Optimization: Leverage AI tools to streamline operations, personalize customer journeys, and enhance search visibility across AI-driven platforms.

Customer Lifecycle & Retention

  • CRM Management: Use HubSpot to segment audiences and personalize communications.
  • Customer Journey: Own and optimize every online touchpoint—from discovery to post-purchase—to deliver a seamless, luxurious experience.
  • Subscriber Growth: Develop and execute strategies to maximize engagement, repeat purchases, and growth from our high-value subscriber list.

Team & Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Cross-functional Leadership: Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Logistics to ensure brand consistency and operational efficiency.
  • External Management: Liaise with agencies (developers, creative, performance marketing) as needed.
  • Reporting: Provide regular performance updates to senior management, highlighting successes and opportunities.

Profile

  • Analytical rigor and a data-driven approach to scaling digital growth.

  • Technical proficiency in digital marketing tools (Google Analytics, Meta Ads, Google Ads).
  • Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM platforms is highly valued.
