Edge Architect - Specialist Master

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Edge Architect to join our team as a Specialist Master. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge edge computing solutions that drive innovation and enhance our service offerings. You will work with a talented team of engineers and product managers to shape the future of our edge infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect robust, scalable, and secure edge computing solutions.
• Define technical roadmaps and strategies for edge infrastructure development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate edge capabilities into existing and new products.
• Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and platforms for edge deployments.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams.
• Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in edge computing and related technologies.
• Develop proof-of-concepts and prototypes to validate new edge solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to edge deployments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in designing and implementing large-scale edge computing solutions.
• Deep understanding of edge computing concepts, architectures, and protocols.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their edge services.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Go, Java).
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of networking principles and security best practices for distributed systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with IoT platforms and protocols.
• Knowledge of machine learning at the edge.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for edge deployments.
