About the role
Overview
Start your career in an interdisciplinary development team working on data-driven real-time solutions for distributed sensor systems. Your Tasks
- Develop and implement ML components for edge and backend systems using machine learning and system technologies such as Python, C++ or Rust
- Transfer prototypes into maintainable, productive solutions and support deployments on edge devices and servers
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated test workflows for data-driven applications
- Collaborate closely with data engineers, platform and domain experts to design robust integration solutions
- Optimize data processing pipelines for real-time or near-real-time streams
- Support monitoring and quality assurance of models, including simple measures for detecting model deviations
- Create clear project documentation and status reports for traceability
Your Profile
- Completed degree or comparable qualification in computer science, data science or a related field, or have initial relevant practical experience
- Initial practical knowledge in Python and experience with at least one statically typed language such as C++, Rust, Go or Java
- Familiarity with basic MLOps aspects such as versioning, deployment and monitoring of models
- Experience with containers and CI/CD tools and application of basic testing principles
- Interest in edge deployments, real-time data and high-performance data processing
- Enjoy working in a team, communicate clearly and have a solution-oriented approach
