EDR/XDR Engineer (m/w/d)

About Us

For an established client company, we are currently looking for an EDR/XDR Engineer (m/f/d) to strengthen the Security Operations Center. In this position, you will work in a specialized team focused on Endpoint Detection & Response, closely collaborating with other SOC units.

Your Responsibilities

• Analysis and processing of security-relevant incidents in the EDR/XDR area
• Implementation of technical measures for defense and containment of attacks
• Setup, operation, and support of EDR/XDR systems in coordination with customers
• Evaluation of incoming alarm messages and derivation of suitable measures
• Further development of detection rules and automation in the SOC
• Close collaboration with the SIEM, SOAR, and OT departments

Your Profile

• Experience with EDR/XDR solutions (e.g., Cortex XDR by Palo Alto, Trellix EDR HX Agent, or comparable products)
• Initial leadership experience or project management is desirable, but not a must
• Very good German language skills, both written and spoken (mandatory for customer communication)
• Analytical and structured way of working, as well as strong communication skills

What Our Client Offers

• Salary: €70,000 – €85,000 p.a.
