Role Overview
Step into a high-impact leadership role overseeing complex extra high voltage transmission projects, with strong exposure to large-scale utility infrastructure and long-term career growth.
Lead from the front as the technical authority, managing multidisciplinary teams, driving project execution, and influencing major utility clients across the full project lifecycle.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Leadership: Serve as "Responsible Charge" for multi-disciplinary teams and establish project work plans.
- Technical: Perform complex calculations and equipment research specifically for EHV overhead lines.
- Client Mgmt: Identify client drivers, manage project changes, and support business development.
- Operations: Oversee project budgets, schedules, and quality requirements.
- People: Lead hiring, discipline, and technical reviews for subordinate engineering staff.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited program.
- Experience: 1+ years in power delivery/transmission ; specific expertise in EHV overhead lines.
- Compliance: Must pass pre-employment background, drug, and motor vehicle record screens.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Licensure: P.E. License highly preferred.
- Software: Mastery of PLS-CADD, line routing, and structural/foundation design.
- EPC Knowledge: Experience with EPC/design services for U.S. investor-owned utilities.
- Project Lifecycle: Advanced knowledge of permitting, land acquisition, and subcontract admin.
