KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leadership: Serve as "Responsible Charge" for multi-disciplinary teams and establish project work plans.
  • Technical: Perform complex calculations and equipment research specifically for EHV overhead lines.
  • Client Mgmt: Identify client drivers, manage project changes, and support business development.
  • Operations: Oversee project budgets, schedules, and quality requirements.
  • People: Lead hiring, discipline, and technical reviews for subordinate engineering staff.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited program.
  • Experience: 1+ years in power delivery/transmission ; specific expertise in EHV overhead lines.
  • Compliance: Must pass pre-employment background, drug, and motor vehicle record screens.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Licensure: P.E. License highly preferred.
  • Software: Mastery of PLS-CADD, line routing, and structural/foundation design.
  • EPC Knowledge: Experience with EPC/design services for U.S. investor-owned utilities.
  • Project Lifecycle: Advanced knowledge of permitting, land acquisition, and subcontract admin.
