About the role
Our client is seeking a compassionate and organized Elder Care Program Manager to lead and oversee comprehensive care services for seniors within the community. This role requires a dedicated individual to develop, implement, and manage programs designed to enhance the quality of life for elderly individuals. You will be responsible for coordinating a range of services, including health monitoring, social activities, transportation assistance, and support for independent living. Experience in program development, staff supervision, and client advocacy is highly beneficial. Responsibilities include: Developing and implementing comprehensive elder care programs and services. Coordinating client care plans, including health services, social engagement, and daily living support. Managing and supervising a team of elder care professionals, including scheduling and performance evaluation. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, families, and community partners. Assessing client needs and connecting them with appropriate resources and services. Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and quality standards in elder care. Organizing social events, recreational activities, and educational workshops for seniors. Monitoring client well-being and proactively addressing any concerns or challenges. Managing program budgets and resources effectively. Providing guidance and support to caregivers and other staff members. Advocating for the rights and needs of elderly individuals. Developing and delivering training programs for staff and volunteers. A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Gerontology, Nursing, Public Health, or a related field is preferred. Proven experience in managing elder care programs, social services, or community health initiatives is essential. Experience in staff supervision and team leadership is required. Strong knowledge of geriatric care principles, health conditions affecting seniors, and available community resources is necessary. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills are crucial. This hybrid role allows for a balance of remote administrative tasks and essential on-site engagement with clients and staff in **Ibadan, Oyo, NG**.
