We are seeking a talented and experienced Electrical Construction Project Manager to join our dynamic team and lead a variety of exciting construction projects. Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of contract administration, including change orders, procurement, scheduling, and financial reporting.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of project contracts and engage with all stakeholders effectively.
- Ensure that all necessary permits are secured and subcontractor insurance coverage is verified.
- Organize and facilitate project meetings to synchronize work activities and enhance alignment.
- Mentor, train, and nurture the development of team members.
- Prepare and deliver monthly project status reports on priorities, risks, and critical issues.
- Track project schedules, set deadlines, and monitor progress against milestones.
- Identify and manage project risks while implementing effective mitigation strategies.
- Oversee the project close-out process, including the turnover of operational manuals, warranties, and final documentation.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with owners, engineers, and design teams.
- Promote and uphold a culture of safety on all job sites.
- Contribute to business development efforts by participating in proposals and presentations.
- Cultivate an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performing team environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 4+ years of construction experience, ideally with a general contractor on large-scale projects.
- 2+ years of experience in leading and developing teams.
- Thorough understanding of the strategic, operational, and financial facets of construction projects.
- Proven track record of successfully managing projects from inception to completion.
- Highly adept at building and negotiating relationships with clients and subcontractors.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities, accountability, and a strong work ethic.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $105K - $130K (Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on various factors).
