Job Description

In this position, you will be responsible for the following tasks, among others:

• Market and requirements analysis in the field of data and signal transmission for slip rings and optical communication with regard to various bus systems (Ethernet, Profinet, Profibus, CAN, ..)
• Concept development and preliminary design of signal transmission systems in interdisciplinary project teams
• Review of customer requirements regarding technical feasibility
• Creation of project-specific documents (conceptual, technological, and commercial)
• Creation and description of (electro-)technical interfaces
• Technical clarification with sub-suppliers (electrical and optical communication products)
• Cost and market value analyses for new products and customer-specific solutions
• Physical validation of signal transmission channels, definition of end-of-line test procedures
• Development of new technologies for data and signal transmission (optical/electrical, various bus systems)

Qualifications

• Studies in electrical engineering with a focus on data and signal transmission (minimum Bachelor's degree)
• Several years of professional experience in a technical environment
• Experience in the design of electrical systems considering high-frequency communication
• Knowledge of several bus technologies in all layers (CAN, Ethernet, industrial real-time communication)
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally for technical training in the field of electrical engineering / bus communication
• Good German and English skills, both written and spoken
• Strong organizational skills
• Independent, customer-oriented way of working

• Willingness to travel at home and abroad
