WSP’s Resources team is on the lookout for an Intermediate Electrical Engineer to lead electrical designs. You will manage projects through the entire lifecycle while ensuring operational safety and regulatory compliance. Your role involves conducting studies, crafting specifications, and mentoring the next generation of engineers, all while collaborating across teams for optimal project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for safe industrial operations
• Conduct power system studies like short-circuit analysis
• Create specifications for electrical equipment and switchgear
• Ensure designs adhere to safety and compliance standards
• Support clients through technical guidance and inquiry responses

Requirements

• Three or more years of experience in heavy industrial design
• Eligibility for P.Eng. in Ontario is advantageous
• Familiarity with CSA and IEEE standards
• Proven experience in mining or similar sectors
• Driver’s license for site visits and inspections
