About the Role
We are actively searching for 2 Electrical Engineers‑in‑Training. This structured development role prepares you for P.Eng licensure while contributing to reliability, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will gain hands‑on experience across critical electrical systems supporting mill operations and site infrastructure, collaborating closely with operations, maintenance, environment, and process control.
Responsibilities
- Support preventive and predictive maintenance activities for electrical systems.
- Assist with electrical project work, including design reviews, installations, and commissioning.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues, identify root causes, and suggest corrective actions.
- Contribute to PLC, SCADA, and instrumentation support and calibration.
- Maintain compliance with electrical codes, LOTO procedures, and site safety standards.
- Prepare technical reports and keep drawings, diagrams, and maintenance records updated.
- Assist with project engineering tasks such as calculations, drawings, take‑offs, and tender scopes.
- Coordinate with project, procurement, and field teams to track progress, resolve technical issues, and support reporting.
Job Qualifications
Key Skills & Knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Eligible to work towards a P. Eng Certification in Ontario.

Salary Range
$70,800–$97,400
