Our client, a leading international mining company, has an exciting opportunity for a seasoned and self-driven Electrical Engineer with a proven track record in the mining industry.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible to plan, organize, manage, direct, coordinate and implement electrical related aspects of all packages within the project.
• SHEQ compliances.
• Work with business partners as project coordinator to resolve day-to-day engineering/site related issues.
• Monitor project tasks and schedule and ensure compliance to plan.
• Track project performance, analyze key risks and highlight in advance.
• Quantity certification & quality checks.
• Ensure project completion within time & budget.

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
• Min 8-10 years of relevant experience.
• Proven working experience in project execution through EPC/Construction partners.
• Thorough understanding of Electrical aspects of equipment for the concentrator plant MV/LV systems.
• Experience in erection, testing, and commissioning of Green/Brown field projects from concept stages, tender preparation & bid adjudication, review of detailed engineering design, till project hand over to operation team.
• Good knowledge of Mine Health and Safety Act and Environmental Management principles, practices, and statutory requirements.
