Duties & Responsibilities

• Executing Electrical Projects from ECSA Stages 1 to 6, including design drafting.
• Assist with RFQs.
• Preparing reports and presentations to clients.
• Witnessing FAT and Commissioning.
• Innovation throughout the design stages.
• Liaison with supply authorities and clients.
• Management of service providers.
• Knowledge of Electrical and Renewable energy Master Planning .
• A good understanding of Eskom and renewable energy reticulation networks (MV and LV) and working within a multi-discipline project environment. A knowledge of renewable energy solutions and Grid Code
• Compliance would be beneficial.
• HV Line designing will be advantageous.
• Proficiency in English with exceptional communication and report-writing skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and independently on complex tasks.
• MS Office Suite.
• MicroStation and AutoCAD.
• CDEGS (AutoGrid Pro)
• PLS CAD will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of ETAP or DIgSILENT will be an advantage

Desired Experience & Qualification

• B.Eng / B.Sc. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of five years' experience in design and construction management of Eskom and municipal distribution 11- 400 kV substations (Control Plant or Primary Plant) and Being well versed with Eskom, NRS and IEEE standards.
• Professional Registration with ECSA (Pr.Eng / Pr.Tech.Eng)
